Refresh Studios is conveniently located in the heart of the Mayfair neighborhood at E. 10th Avenue and Jersey Street in east Denver. Situated across from Mayfair Park, the studio has ample off-street parking.

Why have you purchased Dancing the Soul?

Alison found Dancing the Soul while searching for guided health, wellness, and life balance. It has become a place of solace for her and others. Her vision is for Refresh Studios to belong to the community. Margie Krest, the former owner, has created a beautiful gathering place, and Alison would love to further this vision. Refresh Studios will continue to offer similar classes and workshops plus more classes incorporating physical and mental well-being and fun, creative events for all ages. “Being an event planner for so many years I am always looking for ways to bring people together in a positive and supportive environment, I feel with the current climate we need this now more than ever,” stated Alison.

Who is the new owner?

Alison Oyler-Mitsch has been East Denver Resident for over 20 years. As an event planner, wife, dog mom, she is a proud member of the Mayfair community. Her passions include yoga, community, and events. Her role as a nonprofit event planner for over 20 years has brought together people and communities that share the same common goal, raising money for organizations to better the lives of those in need. As a fun sidenote; Alison met her husband, Ed, at the restaurant that is now known as Bertha's Baja Bistro 15 years ago. They enjoy spending time together and can be seen walking their dog Cody around Mayfair Park.
